The Night Agent Review ~ A Fast-Paced, Action-Packed Thrill Ride

Peter Sutherland is a young FBI agent responsible for answering the “Night Action” phone in the White House basement that “rarely rings”. But one night it does. And this leads him to Rose Larkin, a deadly conspiracy, and a non-stop thrill ride. He will question everything and everyone before it’s over. And so will you.

Seriously Intense

I may have mentioned before that I have a 3 episode rule. I give a show 3 episodes before I decide if I like it or not. Some shows need a while to get going. The Night Agent is not one of those shows. The first episode is great. I became really invested in the main characters’ stories. The intensity was so high in the beginning that I couldn’t wait for the next episode.

Likable characters

Peter is played by Gabriel Basso who you may have seen in shows like The Big C or the film Super 8 but this seems to be a breakout role for him. The same goes for Luciane Buchanan who plays Rose. She has played some smaller roles until now. She plays a smart, capable, kind female role and I really liked her.

Fast paced and action packed

This show is fun and fast paced. There are multiple plot lines happening and it’s fun trying to put all the pieces together. There are assassins and corrupt politicians, coverups and kidnappings, twists and surprises. It never slows down or gets boring. If you’re looking for something compelling and action packed that will hold your attention until the end this one is for you!

Good Stuff: Fun, exciting, compelling story. Likable characters.

Bad Stuff:
